English as a Second Language for Adult International Students
Location- Roy J Wasson Academic Campus
Assist the classroom teacher with small groups of students or individual tutoring for English language development.
Work with adult immigrants and refugees from approximately 20 different countries.
Both mornings and evenings Monday through Thursday for 3-6 hours a week.
Volunteers will need to complete this online D11 Volunteer Registration Form and pass a basic background check.
High School Equivalency / GED Preparation for Adult Students
Location- Roy J Wasson Academic Campus
Assist the classroom teacher with instruction in reading, writing, or math skills in order to help students prepare for the GED exam or other high school equivalency diplomas.
Tutor individual students or assist by teaching small groups of students reading strategies or math lessons.
Work with students ages 17+.
Both mornings and evenings Monday through Thursday for 3-6 hours a week.
Volunteers will need to complete this online D11 Volunteer Registration Form and pass a basic background check.
