Earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential:

Child Development Associate Certificate (120 hours):

The course curriculum covers the growth and development of children aged from birth to five years, with 15 hours of training in each of these eight subject areas:
- Planning a safe and healthy learning environment
- Advancing physical and intellectual development
- Supporting social and emotional development
- Building productive relationships with families
- Managing an effective program operation
- Maintaining a commitment to professionalism
- Observing and recording behavior
- Understanding principles of child development and learning
